printed map; overall 34 x 51 cm, image 31 x 49 cm. folds as issued; some soft creases; small hole in centre crossfold; o/w exc. cond.

A very detailed street plan of Casablanca from a guide book (?) as there are numbers from 1 to 43 but no legend attached. Re-issued by the 954th Engineer Company, the date has to be after November 1942 when the Allied forces took over.

Morocco, then a French protectorate, was controlled by Vichy France from 1940 to 1942 after the German occupation of France. However, after the North African Campaign, Morocco was under Allied control and thus was active in Allied operations until the end of the war.
