steel engraved map with recent hand colouring; overall 31 x 25 cm, image 25 x 21 cm. map surrounded with small vignettes and a decorative border.

from ‘Adlard’s Vignette Modern Atlas’, the map is reminiscent of the style of John Tallis. Shows the whole of the Asian continent.

This is the first time we have offered this map for sale. A fascinating rarity and a marvelous map for collectors.
