A very charming watercolour of yellow foxgloves with a damselfly by E. Christoffel, a female painter who worked in the 1930s to 1950s as a book illustrator for the Ars Sacra Josef Müller Company in Munich.
Ms Christoffel made a name for herself by painting very detailed nature scenes. This painting is part of a very large collection
