copper engraved map; plate 40 x 52 cm. fold as issued; repair to split in top centrefold; printer’s crease to the right; c’fold slightly discoloured; small stain left margin; o/w vg cond.

Beautifully engraved map of the Mediterranean from Italian to the Spanish Coast ( San Remo to Catalonia) from Coronelli’s ‘Corso Geographico’. Shows Nizza, Antibes, St. Raphael, Frejus, Toulon, Marseille, Montpellier, Beziers and Narbonne.
