The World volvelle shows an index of 90 countries. There are various cut-outs pertaining to Natural Resources, Principal Mountains, Population, are in square miles, principal Rivers and Capital. On the lower rim of the volvelle are numbers from 1 to 90 which correspond with the country names and assigned numbers. One picks a number and turns the pointer to the respective number and the information will be displayed in the cut outs. On verso, there are details of how to use the chart.

The Historical volvelle shows English monarchs from Saxon times to the Windsors. Around the rim, is a dateline and the pointer is positioned on the relevant year; a concise description will be shown in the cut-out. On verso, are instructions of how to use the chart.
