A very attractive map of the American continent by Magini with a large area called ‘Nova Guinea’ and an uninterrupted coastline of the Arctic circle. This is a reduced version of d’Anian’s map of America, published in 1582, and is mainly derived from Ortelius’ earlier map of the Western Hemisphere. On verso: Latin text and pagination ‘278’
