Von Reilly was a Viennese art dealer, mapmaker and publishers. From 1789 onwards until 1806, he worked on a very ambitious project to publish an atlas, ‘Schauplatz der fuenf Theile der Welt…’, which contained 830 maps by the time of publishing.

An Austrian map of Alderney, the most northerly of the Channel Islands. It is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. Published in the very uncommon ‘Grosser Deutscher Atlas’.
