Speed’s iconic map of England and Wales with personages on either side of the map, decorated with ships, sea monsters, coat-of-arms, scales and a small cartouche. The map bears the imprints ‘Joducus Hondius Flander caelavit Anno Dom. 1610’ in the lower left hand corner, and ‘Described by Christopher Saxton, augmented by John Speed, and are to be solde in Popes head alley by John Sudbury and George Humble Cum Privilegio.’ in the lower right hand corner.
