A comical map of the UK on an unused postcard: John Bull reading The Times, with Mr Punch looking over his shoulder and the British lion lying by his feet; a Welsh milkmaid covers Wales, and a sailor with a telescope stretched out over Cornwall.

Originally designed by Lilian Lancaster for a ‘Comic Atlas of the British Isles’ and published by Ormiston & Glass in 1878, this postcard was published by Ormiston & Glass in London in 1904.

 disolouration around left and lower margin; corners slightly stubbed; some faint soiling; on verso: some soiling and tape covering a stain; o/w vg cond.
