A very detailed map of Kew Gardens, showing objects of interest as referenced in the index on the verso, entrances to the Garden, part of Kew Green and the River Thames with Lot’s and Kew Eyot. (Did you know that an ‘eyot’ or ‘ait’ is a small island, especially referred to river islands in the Thames and it’s tributaries? They are typically formed by accumulating segment derposits in the water.)
