A very detailed map of the Southern part of Scotland by von Reilly from his ‘Schauplatz der Fünf Theile der Welt nach und zu Anton Friedrich Büschings großer Erdbeschreibung’

Von Reilly was a Viennese art dealer, mapmaker and publishers. From 1789 onwards until 1806, he worked on a very ambitious project to publish an atlas, ‘Schauplatz der fuenf Theile der Welt…’, which contained 830 maps by the time of publishing.
